San Antonio is located about 12 minutes north of Wesley Chapel and is a quick drive to some of the area’s popular amenities like Tampa Premium Outlets and Krate at the Grove. Tampa International Airport is about a 40 minute ride, along with Orlando and the beautiful Gulf Beaches being within an hour & a half.

San Antonio, Florida has both perks of being a small, tight-knit town with local hangouts and community while also being so close to the ever-booming Greater Tampa area. San Antonio enjoys the neighboring small towns of Dade City, Saint Leo, Lake Jovita community, and the great growth of Wesley Chapel.

About 2 miles from the center of town and outside the city limits of San Antonio) is the new & growing community of Mirada.  Mirada is home to the LARGEST CRYSTAL LAGOON in the entire country.  Mirada brings  restaurants, shopping & business opportunities to the community.  If you are looking for a new construction home on standard lot sizes then you may want to look in Mirada.  But if you are open to living in an existing home then perhaps the city of San Antonio, Florida will work for you!

Outside & Inside options in and around San Antonio, Florida

If you live in the city limits of San Antonio, Florida then you will be able to easily enjoy the rolling hills & parks.  If you prefer to pump iron or swim laps then you can join the state of the art Wellness Center at Saint Leo University which is adjacent to San Antonio and overlooks Clear Lake, also known as Lake Jovita.

How about fishing?  The community fishing dock is located on the shores of Lake Jovita (temporarily closed for renovation).  Launching a kayak is also possible at this location.

Cyclists meet up at the San Antonio, Florida Athletic Complex weekly to ride the rolling hills in the area.

San Antonio, Florida is also a Golf Cart Friendly community. However, you will see a lot of people walking and jogging throughout the day.  The quiet neighborhood streets are perfect for enjoying a leisurely stroll!  But the hills on the neighboring Saint Leo Campus provide a challenge for even the most experienced runners.
