Today, I’m talking to you about not living at Mirada Tampa Bay. Have you been thinking about living at Mirada Tampa Bay? If so, I have some reasons that you might not want to live here, and I’m going to go through five, maybe six reasons. So, make sure that you stick around till the end so you hear all of my reasons.
If you don’t like living in a community that has the largest Crystal Lagoon in the entire country, don’t live here. Mirada Tampa Bay, located in San Antonio, Florida, is home to a 15-acre Crystal Lagoon that is the largest one in the whole country. There are several others available; there’s a 5-acre one, there’s a 7 and an 8.2-acre one down the road, but there’s not one in the entire country that is as big as this one that you see right behind me. You can kayak on it, you can paddleboard, there’s a swim-up bar, plenty of seating, but you can rent Cabanas if you want something that is reserved for you and your family or your friends. The lagoon really is crystal clear, enormous, and it is literally right inside of your community. It is like living on the beach but inland coastal living. So, if you don’t like living in a community that is home to the largest Crystal Lagoon in the United States, don’t live here.
If you don’t like living in a conveniently located community, don’t live here. Mirada Tampa Bay is located about 35 miles north of downtown Tampa. The access to the interstate from the entrance of the community is only 1 mile. So, you can get to I-75 in a flash because it’s only a mile to the access of I-75. Even though you live in an inland coastal community, sometimes you might want to go to our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches. Well, that’s going to take you about an hour and 15 minutes to get to one of our beautiful beaches on the Gulf Coast. In Pinellas County, it doesn’t take you very long at all. So, you have a very conveniently located community just north of Tampa. If you don’t like that, don’t live here.
If you don’t like living in a new construction home, don’t live here. Mirada Tampa Bay is home to several new home builders, and because it’s a new community, there aren’t a lot of resales available yet. Sometimes they hit the market, but most of the homes that you would move into here are new construction. You have your choice between Villas, Town Homes, single-family homes, and some luxury home products. With a new construction home, guess what you get? You get a home warranty. Home builders will typically give you a home warranty when you buy one of their homes. A typical warranty would look something like a 10-year structural warranty, a 2-year warranty on plumbing, a 2-year warranty on electrical, and then a one-year cosmetic warranty. That’s what you get when you have a brand new construction home. Some of the home builders here allow you to pick out some of your options. The ones that are a little bit more on the luxury side allow semi-custom options, so they have some options that they have pre-designed, and you can pick and move and push and pull and put your touches on those builder’s products. The builders will also offer you incentives. So, if you don’t like to live in a new construction home where you get to pick out the floor plan, the location, get a home warranty, and also get some incentives, then don’t live here.
If you don’t like having access to miles and miles of trails, human parks like tot lots, and dog parks, then don’t live here. Mirada Tampa Bay has trails running through the community that you can ride a bike on, walk on, or drive your Lagoon Cruiser on. A Lagoon Cruiser is the same as a golf cart, but they call it a Lagoon Cruiser because this is not a golf community. So, they’ve named it a Lagoon Cruiser. It is Lagoon Cruiser friendly throughout the entire community. If you want to go to the Lagoon for the day, you don’t have to get in your car; you can drive your Cruiser over. If you want to take your dog to the dog park, of course, you can walk your dog there. But if you’re a little bit further away, you don’t want to walk that far, get in the Lagoon Cruiser, and go over to the dog park. The same with the tot lots; those are easily accessible as well with your Lagoon Cruiser, or you can walk, ride your bike—whatever you want to do. It is friendly that way. If you don’t like nature trails, parks, or being able to ride a Lagoon Cruiser throughout a community, don’t live here.
If you don’t like having underground utilities or super-fast internet, don’t live here. Mirada Tampa Bay is home to some of the fastest internet speeds in the country; it’s called UltraFi. They also have underground utilities, and I happen to know for a fact that during some of our storms over the summer with high winds, they did not lose power and they did not lose internet here in this community, while about a mile down the road, that community did. And that’s because they didn’t have underground utilities. So, if you don’t like having high-speed internet or underground utilities, don’t live here.
If you don’t like having events to attend, don’t live here. The Lagoon at Mirada Tampa Bay regularly hosts resident-only events. There is actually a full calendar of those events. If you don’t like having something fun to do, don’t live here.
