Designated swimming areas exist, while others are reserved for activities like kayaking and paddleboarding.

Surprisingly, the Crystal Lagoon is open to the public, albeit with a hefty entry fee. This means that despite paying a substantial capital contribution and monthly HOA fees, outsiders can enjoy the amenities by paying an entrance fee, usually around $25. However, limits are set on the number of visitors allowed.
4. Food and Beverage Policy:
Bringing outside food and drinks into the lagoon area is not permitted. Sealed bottled water and certain baby food items are exceptions. Food trucks stationed nearby provide options, although a lack of a permanent restaurant on-site means limited choices.

Residents enjoy privileges such as access for household members, including dependent children up to age 25. Additionally, each household receives 25 guest passes annually, with the option to purchase extra passes for $5 each. Discounts on various amenities are also available to residents.

A lagoon like the one in MIRADA would have been a whole different experience for them for sure!
